Artist's Comments

Taken on the same morning as Frozen Trees. Everything was frozen white. I guess I like taking pictures into the sun :-)

i love this picture, it looks like the kind of place i'd really want to be. the lighting and reflections make it really ethereal.

yo, you got any turtles?
:iconmurtoz:
thank you! I must say the world looked very surreal that morning.

And the seasons of last year
Like reasons have floated away

Excellent. My only complaint would be the highlight clipping in the sky @ the left top.

If nobody understands you, that does not mean you are an artist

Thank you :-)
Can you explain about the highlight clipping? i did some research but didn't really find an explanation of what you are saying...

Do you see at the upper left corner, there is a sudden shift from pure white to light blue? In the white region (a highlight) detail has been clipped - it became white due to overexposure.

Cool, I can understand that :-)
I knew the pic was slightly over-exposed (that was on purpose in order to catch the white of the forst - some of the trees on the left havebeen washed out as well...) But on my monitor it more or less looks like a gradual change from white to blue. Guess the monitor may need calibration?
